Healthy Guacamole

Avocados are one of my absolute staples. I eat one almost everyday, feeling
good about the monounsaturated healthy fats…plus they are so rich they feel like soul food to me. Bonus: they are also a natural anti-inflammatory food.


1 large organic avocado
1 clove organic garlic, crushed in garlic press just before throwing it in
1 large scoop nonfat plain organic greek yogurt
a healthy squeeze of fresh lemon juice
1 scoop of whatever salsa you like or have on hand, or 1/2 cup diced tomato
salt and cayenne pepper to taste

Mash avocado, leaving it a bit chunky. Add everything else and serve with blue chips or on top of a quesadilla. Enjoy!!
